Dragonfly

For Macro Monday submission mini-theme Bugs I went deep into archives. The dragonflies are inhabiting the pond in Wickiup Hill park, where local camera club resides. I bet they are the most often photographed subject at the vendors events (like Tamron I attended few years ago) if not before and after the meetings.

I certainly did not shy away from them, finding them interesting graphically as well us biologically. In this image, I wanted to put stress on the pattern on the wings, the black and white spots, making it stand out of the overwhelmingly (green) surroundings. And the delicate net of the wings itself.

Isn’t nature mazing?
