Balloon glow

Few days ago a got a chance to see what a Balloon Glow is all about. In small town of Indianola, Iowa, each year there is a big balloon event, National Balloon Classic. During the event, they offer ballon rides, have some concerts, and for a few nights during a week long event, there are nigh glows. So what is the nigh glow? Simply, when there sufficiently dark on the field, on the moderator countdown, the balloons turn their burners all at once, creating this “glow”. There spectacular view, if not short lasting.
