Flour drop
Last weekend, I was photographing another event at Green Castle Aero Club. Already postponed once Flor Drop finally happened and the weather was just right. After bunch of people dropped small bags with flour trying to reach the “small” target just off runway, the left overs from the large sac were released into the air, forming this air-show quality cloud behind 1939 Taylorcraft. Perfect photo opportunity. This is one of my favorite airplanes in the club. Not only it is a tail-dragger. It also has this vibrant color, which makes photographing it on the blue sky background a simple pleasure.
