On the streets of NYC

Another day when under normal circumstances we should be getting a lot of snow. Instead, is raining cats and dogs. Days like that are not typical for Iowa, at least they were not last almost 6 years I lived here. What they remind of, though, is Vancouver and NYC, where it seems to be raining most of the time. As it was last summer we were in NYC. I took one day just to wonder around Midtown, on my way to United Nations form the hotel we stayed. I took the photograph of those buildings because of their interesting shape- the triangles in the see of rectangles. Bu turning it black and white, I was able to focus attention on those shapes and glass of which everything seems to be made in the image. The reflections in all surfaces create texture in the image, adding some interest.
