Torie, sleeping

My cat, Torie is my evening companion. Whenever I stretch on the couch, to watch TV or read, she finds herself on my laps in a second. While photographing her with my SLR is close to impossible, it is bulky, noisy and makes Torie run for life, I often sneak up iPhone upon her. I am creating folder of images of her this way, one of my favorite evening tasks is to see if I can come up with a new perspective, get the camera closer, create a unique image.

This image was taken just a couple of evenings ago. I was trying out new iPhone up to take images with shallow depth of field (impossible on an iPhone camera by itself). The app is called SynthCam, and although it is supposedly easy to use according to the instructions, I am planning on few more evenings to nail it down.
