Film Friday – Blue bells

I just brought another batch of three developed films from the lab this week. Those films were shot reasonably recently, thus I have a lot of pictures of spring and flowers, like they could have been shot yesterday. I should be able to show some of them.

I would like to start from the one of beautifully shaped flowers, white blue bells, I think. This image stunned me when I saw it on the film itself, because it looked like black and white image. Since it was a color film, I was intrigued how did that happened. Turned out that the white of the flowers just stood out of the dark leaves, with slight underexposure green was close to black, giving this eerie look.
