Button up

Just having some macro fun, exploring the diversity of shapes in the white buttons collection in my sewing box. Sometimes, the Macro Monday themes make me just fill up with ideas, and sometimes, it is looking at the subject and no idea where to start. The last happened yesterday. The buttons just did not want to look great under any angle. I tried low and tried high, colorful and one tone at the time. I finally picked one of the early tries, just for the shallow depth of field. You can say the light is the most interesting thing happening in this image, partially because of the shiny surface of the buttons, partially due to the new Radial filter in Lightroom 5….
