Busy parenting

I was working on some other images off my Lightroom catalog, when I noticed this image from last weekend. We were walking along the Lily Pond in Middle Amana, when we encountered the geese. Two families, in fact – this one was the larger. We bothered them a bit, neither we or them had really a good way to get out of each others way in the narrow trail between the Iowa River corridor and the lake. Eventually, the geese went into pond and we could pass, but I took few pictures of the large family, walking.
