Evening @Seabase on Lake Winnebago

Each time we go to Seaplane Base at Oshkosh, it is a different experience. Last year we started going to Watermelon Social, which is the busiest time in the base. Held on Saturday evening, it brings over those really interested in seaplanes, since it overlaps some with night airshow. Nevertheless, it is crowded in this small overall piece of land, and not much flying going on. No wonder any arrival brings people to the water to watch – like this Cessna 180.

The light was beautiful that evening, with colors of water and sky blending, and sun casting warm colors on the objects.
