Cut tree trunk

It looks I am going for black and white week, and it was not particularly planned. Just when I posted the pumpkins, I was challenged on Google Plus to 5 days of black and white images. I accepted a challenge, so might as well share those images (if they are new) on blog.

Few weeks ago, I was looking for fall in the woods, but I found this cut tree trunk and could not resist the texture and pattern. I knew it will be a great B&W, so challenge made me actually do it, finally. It reminds me of curly, long hair a bit…
