Against light
Just a simple experiment. We were walking over the weekend through downtown Omaha, watching all the working photographers shooting senior pictures against background of the beautiful fall foliage. We were discussing some of them shooting against sun, without external flash or reflector. I claimed it is not that big of the deal, and then I saw this picture, and shot it as a proof. It’s kind of my type of picture, a simple abstract, form and light. It was a piece of elaborate fountain on the Gene Leahy Mall, so the water droplets created all those interesting sparks around it. Turning it black and white just helped focus.
