Ruins of Eagle’s Nest in Mirow
This castle was already portrayed on the blog. But I found it browsing through my library last week. I love the perspective on the image. Working with fisheye lens requires some trial and error, but the effects can be great if you find just right point of view, with distortion which goes almost unnoticeable. This image is quite different in feeling then this one. Today’s blog image was post-processed using the Iceland Split Blue preset from “Iceland-a monograph” by David DuChemin, which I reviewed on blog last week. The preset in this image created a completely different feeling then it did on Iceland landscapes. It was shot mid-day, but with blue tonality and sun hidden behind the tower, it might have been taken in the middle of the night. But there is no coldness here.
