Conifer in dew
I cannot recall now, if there was rain or dew on this pine tree. I took this picture in summer. I was doing something in the kitchen of my parents place, and saw the spectacle of light on tiny drops of water on the row of evergreens along the fence. I took the camera and shot quite a number of pictures, trying to get the effect I liked.
I guess this image is another example of what I start to consider my style- the intimate cropping of the subjects works far better then trying to show larger, even beautifully shaped branch. And I really like how the combination of longer focal length with not-so-wide open aperture gave just enough depth of field to render the front piece sharp, and through the on in the back slightly out of focus.
