Too early

Spring in Iowa? Don’t make me laugh. Oh, yes, the grass turned green all right. Some trees show first buds. But flowers? No, I don’t think there is much of flowers in Iowa ever, and April is definitely not the time. Unless you get them in full bloom in local grocery store.
Missing last weekend opportunity to visit botanical garden in Madison, WI, we found a few in Iowa. Choose the one North, not too long of the drive. That was another great idea. The bottom line, there was not much to see in the garden yet. Unless you like tulip buds.
