At the airstrip

All the pumpkin photos were taken yesterday at the local airstrip, Green Caste. Today, they have a fun event, Pumpkin Splat. Yeah, it is what it says it is- they will be taking those poor pumpkins up in the air and try to hit the target from about 500 feet. I am going to spend most of the day photographing the event. Meantime, take a look at this image. I noticed some time ago, how interesting those two airplanes look, so symmetrically placed in the hangar. When I finally decided to photograph them, the contrast between dark inside of the hangar and outside blue sky where possible to capture only with the help of technology. I went for HDR rather then setting up strobes- this time.
