Autumn in Omaha

It is a beautiful fall this year, warm and full of colors. Since we still have not found favorite places to spend time outdoors in Des Moines, we continue to venture out. This time, I suggested Omaha. It was, it turned out, a good idea. The weather is roughly the same, the foliage was in peak, like here – and the downtown, is just an amazing walking destination. We walked through Gene Leahy mall down to Heartland of America park, around the lake and back. What a treat.
