Balloon chase

Balloons still feel unusual to me, every time I spot them, although they are fairly common view around Iowa. At least it was when I was leaving in Iowa City area. This year, however, I attended two balloon events in a span of just couple of weeks. First was National Balloon Classic, which is so much closer now to where I live. And then, of course, morning balloon launch at Oshkosh. I finally was able to take an image I wanted for so long, this first one in the gallery below, that I can print big and hang on the wall. Somehow, the flying balloons, their colors and patterns, just make me smile. And no, I do not want to fly them!
