Balloon fun

Airventure is about all things flying. No wonder balloons make an appearance at Oshkosh, although due to National Balloon Classic in Indianola happening same time, there is just few of them. This year, eight showed up, the largest group I have seen so far. Which doesn’t say much, since 6 am Saturday balloon launches at Oshkosh fall into two categories – those we get there on time and balloons do not go anywhere (this one was in this category) and we overslept and only see last balloon disappearing behind trees.

Enough complaining. This year, we caught balloon glow which landed on the schedule in last moment and was only announced after that afternoon show. And we had a great photo session at morning launch, due to wind in direction of the runway, which canceled the flight.
