Bark

It seems like I seriously neglected my blog last week. It is a hectic time, mostly at work, and still busy weekends with snowboard- no new photos, no ideas for posting, no time to think. But I was just finishing off the “Photo impressionism” by Freeman Patterson and Andre Gallant and decided to find a photo to try desaturating some part, and leaving subject in color. This photo is not exactly what I was looking for (I pre-visualized smaller subject) but it is working nevertheless. In fact, the blue color and cloudless sky in the background was realy distracting from the colors of this tree bark in my neighborhood.
