Dreaming in pink

I am trying to utilize last afternoons when there is enough light, no wind and my flower bed in front of the house is still blooming. Not many chances to get all of those conditions at once, let me tell you. But the flowers are still there, in fact, in last week or so, new ones showed up. Those purple what I think are asters, three of them. Two of those positioned themselves on top of each other, and i was intrigued if there is a photo opportunity there. I tried several combinations, but i like the most this one. It was shot on top of both of them, with the bottom one in focus.
I am exploring recently “shooting through”. and really like the softening effect and adding color using this technique. Have any of you tried it? Want to share your photos in the comments?
