Empire State Building
With Tomasz taking his semi-annual trip to New York City, I was considering if not joining him on the trip was a right decision. I was planning to go and see “Faking It” at Moma at first. Then the trip got shortened and I decided to stay. Yet, with Tomasz busy at the office, those trips are full of photowalking opportunities for me. Thus this morning I went through collections of old images from The City, to process something for blog.
I feel most of architecture images look best in black and white. It allows viewer to focus on what’s important, the lines and shapes. In this case, I wanted to show the feeling of Empire State Building dominating the small human at the bottom with exaggerated perspective. It is also the first time I used 16×9 crop, which I learned just recently is perfect for panoramas.
