Finding break from Midwest winter

Another snowy, windy, cold winter weekend… in April. I was fed up. The only thing I felt like doing was getting in the car and drive South, not stopping until I reached the Gulf coast. I was quite willing to do it, too.

Luckily, my husband had a better idea and we ended up in warm and sunny butterfly wing of Reiman Gardens. We could sit down, relax, listen, observe, feel like being outside in the sun (cause it was sunny outside at that moment), yet protected from the elements. What a brillant idea!
