Going air to air
While I have tried it before, this time it was planned and worked a bit better. Let’s consider this my first ait-to-air experience.
Last weekend, we flew for fly-in breakfast to a town just South of us, Washington, Iowa. It is popular event, and several pilots from the club decided the short flight is worth it. Overall, four airplanes flew, us included, in the same time. Being the fastest, I got the chance to make several passes by the Taylorcraft and Piper Cub, training the airplane in flight photography from the air…
Some challenges? Stress of flying, of course, combined with trying to keep camera steady in rather jumpy ride (warm day, upcoming storm, low altitude). But I enjoyed it nevertheless, and have few pictures to show for it.
