Ice storm
One of the beauties of shooting film camera is to see your results after a while. There was this picturesque ice storm in our area in the middle of January, and I have not been able to scan those images until this weekend. I shot a film and a half of ice-covered plants, and just now I am browsing through those images.
They were all shot with 50 mm lens, not particularly good lens for close up work. I admit, this image was cropped significantly, and was intended this way from beginning. It is a limitation of 50 mm lens- yes, you can come closer or move away for a different shot, but you cannot work past focus distance of your lens.
