Iowa City aerial landmarks

When I took those two photographs, couple of weeks apart, I did not think of them as a series. It did not occur to me until the moment I was processing all my recent flying trips photographs all at once. Both show landmarks of Iowa City, characteristic building that distinguish parts of town very clearly. I look at them, and I am fascinated by how much trees there is downtown. See that church in the left corner of the second image? When you walk the streets in its neighbourhood, you do not feel that covered, that protected from sun and elements.

Couple of weeks apart, different times of day. More fall colors in the second, and totally different light of mid-morning versus early evening.
