Jelly fish
I don’t think I can take any credit for the beauty of this photograph. It was just all there, waiting for me the make the click. I took it when ee were visiting Sea World – aquarium in the Mall of America last weekend. It was all there- the contrast of colors, the spotlight on the big jelly fish…
This is one of the things in photography I learned about myself. It is much easier to see a photograph when it is in front of your eyes, ready for you to record. Yes, you still have to chose the light, find the best angle and optics, and post-process to accent what is the most important in the scene. But it is still so much easier, for me at least, to do that, then start with a clean white piece of paper and build the scene from scratch, like you do in food photography, for example. Do you find creating scenes more difficult then exploring scenes? What is your biggest photography struggle?
