Kuvasz airplane

iStock announced couple of weeks ago that it starts accepting editorial images, so last two afternoons I spend sorting through some of images that fall under that category. The images from Goraszka Air Picnic were my first choice, of course, some of them are doing good in Shutterstock.
When I was browsing through the Lightroom library, I found this image and thought I will post it today. It is a Lensbaby detail shot of very interestingly looking airplane, called Kuvasz. This is a wooden airplane build by Andras Kvasz in 1910. It was all I was all I was able to find on the net regarding its history. It is really so unique, that those those curious how the whole machine looks like, there is a picture to the left. It was standing on the static display on Goraszka airfield, and as you can see from comparison of both images, shooting a detail was a better option in midday sun. Again, Lensbaby delicate blur reduced emphasis of lines going in all directions and keeping the construction tight, I suppose.
