Military precision

The perfectly formed raw of Thunderbirds, the US Airforce demonstration team, await their performance during last year’s Thunder in the Valley in Waterloo, Iowa.

I have to admit I see Thunderbirds less often then I see Blue Angels, the Navy demonstration team. Their shows are not that different to me (although aircrafts are), and offer similar photographic opportunities. Somehow, I prefer the Thunderbirds marking on the airplanes, which can be a girlie thing, and yet they are easier to make stand out from the blue sky.

Here, is all about the repeating pattern and a long raw of airplanes, making it bigger than life.
