Mixed feeling

I am looking outside the window, and cannot decide if it is winter or spring. There is no snow anymore, and temperature is around freezing for last few days. It reminded me of the photo I took last year on one of first spring photo walks in the city park. The Christmas ornaments were still hanging on one of the spruce trees. I think just by looking at the needles and the background, you can tell it is a warm, sunny spring day, with bright green colors. The red color of the ornament contrasts with it on so many levels.
