On the shore of Lake Superior

Some more images from the trip up North.
When we were driving up there, I had only vague idea what we might be doing. Few notes on attractions, few scenic routes to explore. I wanted to be outside, enjoy the proximity of water, and photograph fall colors. And then I found this mile-by-mile guide to one of the scenic drives right outside Duluth, going further North along the lake shore (calles, as you might guess, North Shore Scenic Drive). Perfect. At first, I thought we will be back in town for lunch, but we barely drove 60 miles and spent the whole day!
