Reddish slots

I am finding Antelope Canyon a very curious place. It is not a very known attraction, in fact none of my acquaintances knows about it, when I explain where I went for my vacation. However, going there was the biggest disappointment of my trip. The place is so commercialized…. There are, I think, two or three tour agencies, with which you have to go to visit. You end up, in rather narrow and not too long, slot canyon, not only with 12 people in your group, but at the same time there is as many groups in the canyon as it is long. I suppose it is beautiful place, just you don’t have time and surroundings to appreciate it. I won’t even mention taking photographs, for that you can take a photo tour. And end up in the same crowd- we passed the so called “photo tour” on our way out…. Until now, I never gave a second thought to the fact, that places like Arches or many others, you can just visit in your own pace. Even if they are crowded, everybody has his own schedule, so you can always get a few minutes of solitude. I’ve got few keepers, though, mostly because my husband insisted and bore with  tripod….
