Universal zoom

This post is few days overdue. For once, it was a real busy week and I wasn’t posting too regularly. Secondly, I was partially busy fixing my computer, partially taking new photos, so these somehow get lost in the crowd on new pictures.

Anyway, what I was going to say, is that for my birthday my husband presented me a new lens. As it happened to both of us already that we needed a tele and wide-angle for subsequent shots, and the time required to change from one to the other and back threatened not to get the shot at all, we decided a “universal” lens is required.

So, I am a proud owner of Nikkor 18-200 mm f/3.5-5.6. What I like about it in not only the range of focal length, but the vibration reduction. So far, I couldn’t take a decent picture of my very lively cat, not only because he simply hates a huge black eye aiming at him, but also I couldn’t keep the camera steady and it showed in longer focal length.
