Utah juniper
The berries on this Utah juniper (Juniperus osteosperma) were just perfect to photograph. The blue fruit were sticking out from the rest of the plant, drawing attention. Adding to that, the red rock of Arches Devil’s garden provided interesting background. And thanks goodness for geotagging, the junipers were so ubiquitous through the park, I would never have guessed where I really took this picture!
