Waterfalls

This was a great day to photograph (not so for biking, but you just cannot have it all).  I have quite a few photos I will play a little bit and post during next week. Meantime, my first “silky water” shot with long shutter speed. No tripod though, and you know what? At 1/2 sec the backpack would do.

We did not expect to find this waterfall riding on bike trails in Decorah, it said on sign Dunning’s Springs. We almost got fooled :).

Anyway, in “Digital landscape photography” Michelle Perkins suggests, that finding a waterfall or any other panoramic subject for your photos is as simple as putting “waterfall” and name of your neighborhood in Googe.  This way, I found  Michele Maki web page with photgraphs and names of waterfalls in all States.
