Wooden pergola

This wooden pergola is part of the rose garden in Cedar Valley Arboretum and Botanic Garden. We visited it last weekend in search for spring. None found, but the wooden construction was interesting by itself. Toning down the colors draws attention to what is important on this image – shapes. A little bit of clarity stressed even more the texture of the wood and shown all the details and knots.
